Uphill Travel Update

The Sugar Bowl Uphill Travel Policy has been modified this season for the safety of our guests. Uphill travel is not permitted on Mt. Disney/Crow's after 4:00pm daily due to snowcat operations, including cat-winching which poses a serious hazard for participants. After 4:00pm, please utilize the approved routes on Mt. Lincoln or Mt. Judah only.

Uphill travel requires a valid season pass or Uphill-Only Season Pass. Uphill-only season passes are available for purchase for $199. No uphill day tickets will be available this season due to increase participation.

Uphill use of the resort and its surrounding areas by means of skinning have gained popularity at Sugar Bowl. Skiers and riders must review, agree to and sign the Uphill Use Policy before traveling uphill at Sugar Bowl Resort, and abide by the rules and regulations established by Sugar Bowl and USFS when accessing the resort both during and after operating hours. Due to increased participation of uphill travel at Sugar Bowl, access will be limited to New Uphill season passholders and Sugar Bowl's downhill season passholders and

Participants may purchase an Uphill Only season pass online. At that time you will review and complete the Uphill Use Policy.

The Sugar Bowl Uphiller: April 1st
Calling all ski tourers and splitboarders:Join us for the Inaugural Sugar Bowl Uphiller this April 1!

Who remembers the infamous Quad Crusher? This new event is a spin-off that still involves uphill travel, but allows participants to choose the amount of vertical climbing they want to do. The goal is to rack up as many human-powered “Lincoln laps” as you can in a day… without the help of a chairlift.
