Introducing The Donner Summit at Sugar Bowl presented by GoPro, an exciting new event bringing together up-and-coming ski and snowboard athletes. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Donner Summit, this multi-day gathering promises to be a dynamic fusion of networking, personal growth, and the celebration of athletic pursuit. Designed to nurture emerging talent, the summit will connect up-and-coming youth with a diverse array of industry professionals, including pro athletes, brand marketing leaders, athlete agents, health experts, nutritionists, and financial health professionals. With a focus on fostering holistic success both on and off the slopes, attendees can expect workshops and panel discussions covering film and photography production, social media content creation, branding yourself, being a great spokesperson for brands you work with, mindset and physical wellness, and athletic performance strategies. The Donner Summit stands as a pivotal platform for the next wave of winter sports stars to thrive.

Bridget Legnavsky
Bridget dedicated most of her career to Cardrona, New Zealand, advancing from athlete to General Manager over 10 years. She spearheaded Cardrona's transformation into a leading Park and Pipe venue, driven by her passion for athlete growth, wellness, and joy.
Paul Crandell
Paul Crandell
For 30 years, Paul has focused on sports, starting as Head of Sports at Red Bull North America, where he expanded the brand through sponsorships and content. Later, at GoPro, he led global marketing, managing diverse athletes and teams across various sports.
Accepting Applications Now
Space in The Donner Summit presented by GoPro is very limited to provide an optimal learning experience for the attendees. This year, only 40 athletes will be accepted, including top FIS skiers and snowboarders. Applications and registration fees are due April 23, 2024.

Donner Summit Registration: $1,000 USD Sugar Bowl sees this event as having tremendous value to participating athletes and is now offering to underwrite the event and subsidize the registeation fee for each athlete up to the value of $500 to ensure the event goes ahead.
