We’re in for a sweet weekend this Saturday and Sunday at Sugar Bowl and Sugar Rush Tubing. A blanket of Sierra snow, boosted by our snowmaking crews, has laid the foundation for the season ahead. Come bask in the fresh mountain air, eat great food, get your gear tuned, and enjoy an après afternoon with fun-loving family and friends.

Sugar Bowl’s Flume Moving Carpet, White Pine beginner terrain, and Sugar Rush Tubing will be open, making this the perfect weekend for learners, first laps of the season, and for anyone looking for a tubing-induced adrenaline rush!

What’s Spinnin’

Flume Moving Carpet and White Pine Beginner terrain will be open. Sugar Rush Tubing will be fully operational for tubing and snow play. We will be open on Saturday and Sunday. Stay tuned on our channels for the longer term operational plan.

Deals for Days

Calling all curious beginners: the Sugar Bowl Snowsports School will offer an incredible $99 lesson package for all ages, all weekend. The package includes a half day lesson, rentals, and a lift ticket. What a deal, what a steal! 

Opening Weekend Energy Forecast: Off the Charts

Expect nonstop stoke all weekend as DJs Fox & Buck, Chango, and Jonny Wild bring the vibe to Sugar Rush and Flume Carpet, with the energy rolling into après at Main Lodge. Keep an eye out…lucky riders and tubers will score fresh Sugar Bowl Sugar Cookies too!

Pick Up Your Pass & Dial In Your Gear

If you’re rocking the same pass as last season, you’re all set—head straight to Flume Carpet. If you didn’t receive your pass in the mail, swing by Main Lodge Guest Services starting at 8:00am to pick it up. Be sure to sign your waiver online and upload a profile photo beforehand to keep things quick and smooth.

Need a tune up? Come drop into tuning shop near Main Lodge and, on your way out, check out our awesome retail store and new Sugar Bowl logowear.

When you’re done dialing in the details, get back in your winter groove and grab a drink at the Sierra Vista Bar.

Services for our Skiers and Snowboarders 

The special ticket and season pass office is open daily along with the rental shop and retail shop in Main Lodge from 8:00am-5:00pm.

Where to Grab a Bite 

The Judah Cafe will offer breakfast from 8-10:30am and lunch from 10:30am-3pm. The bar will be open from 10am-5pm. Come try our new Ol’ 40 Lager at après, or stop for a mid-day lunch to order from our menu of flatbreads, ramen, poke, and more!

The Gondola and Village Lodge are closed until their opening later in the month.

Uphill Travel 

There will be no uphill travel open due to limited terrain and early season conditions. We look forward to opening our uphill travel as soon as possible.

Parking 

Carpooling is cool! Grab your buddies and come park at the Main Lodge lot. If you want to be closest to the lifts, park in the Upper Lot at Sugar Bowl.

Reminder! The gondola will not be open, so please park in the Main Lots. The Village Lodge is closed for construction and is getting ready for its grand re-opening in mid-December.
