Big Savings with All-Day Group Tickets!
Groups of 20 or more are eligible for discount tickets and rentals. Your group will receive 1 free ticket for every 20 tickets purchased! Just call us with your trip date, and we'll take care of the rest. Sugar Bowl will be happy to do all of the work so you don't have to, just call to find out if we can send a bus to your area (most Sacramento and San Francisco locations available for pick-up with a 30 day notice).

How 'bout a pizza after a great day on the slopes.
Order your pizza-pie and drinks in advance, and we can have it waiting for you to enjoy during your ride home. We can also provide lunch coupons for your group or a midweek luncheon in our dining room. We look forward to helping you make your group outing care free and fun for everyone.

Please ask a sales representative about discounted tickets for groups returning for their third trip to Sugar Bowl this season (2007/08).

Please fill out a Sugar Bowl Rental Form for each person and send it back to us at least 2 days prior to your trip.

Please print legibly or else we will not be able to enter your information! This will ensure fast and expedited service. If you do not return the rental forms at least 2 days prior to your trip your group will spend more time waiting in lines and less time finding lines out on the mountain.

2007/08 Lessons
Lesson Packages
Spring lessons only start at 10AM. Lesson can either be ski or board for all ages listed below. Lesson for ages 13 and over are beginner and very low intermediate lessons only. Child (6-12) lesson programs are for all levels. Please fill our a rental for everyone in your group who will need equipment. We also require that you turn in a list with abilities broken down. If your group would like a higher lesson, please call 530-426-6776 for private lesson reservation.

Includes limited lift, 2 hour lesson & ski or snowboard rental (lifts include: Jerome Hill, Christmas Tree, White Pine, Meadow, Nob Hill, and Surface Lifts)

Groups who reserve lessons on Saturdays or Sundays must fill out rental form and skier/boarder assessment form. forms must be turned into Sugar Bowl 2 days prior to your visit.

Your group MUST CHECK IN NO LATER THAN 8:30 AM IN ORDER TO TAKE THE 10:00 AM LESSON. lesson.

Parents or guardians must drop off and pick up anyone in a lesson if they are under the age of 15. MSLC will not release any student from the Pavilion under the age of 15.
Charter Bus Services
Let Sugar Bowl take the burden out of group travel and forget the caravan of cars that inevitably loses one or two along the way. A chartered bus is the only way to go! Our buses come fully equipped with a television, VCR, stereo and a restroom. (Prices are dependent on location.) All charter buses require a credit card number for a deposit along with a signed contract. We will help you reserve a bus from the Bay Area, Sacramento Valley, or Reno area. Buses must be reserved at least 1 month in advance. Please send us in the Bus Booking Form and we will get you a quote.

Group Lunch & Pizzas
Home Run Pizza
Don’t let a great day end just because the chairs close down. Your group may have a stack of hot, fresh pizzas and soda waiting for you on the bus when you and your group finish for the day. There is no need to stop the bus an hour down the road, flooding a fast food restaurant, when you can have the perfect travel food brought right to you! We have a large selection of toppings available as well as many types of soda. See the Dining Booking Form for pricing.

To have pizza and soda waiting for your group, simply fill out and return the Pizza and Lunch Booking Form.

Lunch Options

If your group is packing a bag lunch, we suggest taking over a portion of our Cold Stream Room. This room is located upstairs in the Mt. Judah lodge (just above the Mt. Judah Bar). Arrive early and park your group for the day.

You may also purchase meal vouchers for your group in the amount of $10, $15, or $20. These may be redeemed at the Mt. Judah Lodge, Village Cafe, or Mid Mountain.

Clair Tappaan Lodge is a rustic hostel-style mountain lodge located on top of Donner Pass just one mile from Sugar Bowl. The Donner Summit Shuttle stops at Clair Tappaan Lodge and drops off guests at Sugar Bowl’s Judah Lodge so guests enjoy more skiing and riding and less time in the parking lot. The friendly, casual atmosphere and affordable nightly rates make the Lodge the perfect rustic getaway. A hearty breakfast and dinner are prepared each day by the professional kitchen staff and are served family-style in the Lodge's large dining room. Brown bag lunch provisions are available for guests to take with them each day, and a vegetarian meal option is always available (3 meals are included with the nightly rate). All accommodations are in bunk beds equipped with mattresses (bring your own sleeping bag or bedding) in a variety of room types and sizes. Restroom and shower facilities are shared. The Lodge also offers a hot tub to soak to get those sore muscles ready for another day of skiing. Each day of their stay, guests assist with daily kitchen/lodge chores such as meal preparation and serving, setting tables, or dishwashing. These chores require about one half hour each day.
