Marketing: Snow Reporter/Group Sales Coordinator

The Snow Reporter/Group Sales Coordinator has two primary tasks.

  1. Ensure the resort’s snowfall and weather information is updated in a timely and accurate manner, across multiple media channels, including the company website, third party websites, company phone greeting, and text.
  2. Ensure all Group operations run smoothly, while working on other sales and marketing projects on a daily basis.


In addition, the Snow Reporter/Group Sales Coordinator assists with traditional and social marketing initiatives for the resort, when and where needed. 


The ideal candidate will be a team player, comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal operation. The candidate will possess strong skills in the following areas:
  •  High level of punctuality for early morning arrival
  •  Excellent attention to detail
  •  Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Strong guest service skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, PR or Communications preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and be in good physical condition
  • Must be at least an intermediate level skier or snowboarder


  • 5:30 a.m. arrival to ensure report is sent by 6:00 a.m.
  • Learning Snow Report procedures, such as 12 hour, 24 hour, day-over-day, storm total and season-to-date snowfall calculations, content management system updates, light html
  • Early morning communication with other departments (Ski Patrol, Grooming, Operations) via radio and phone
  • Work alongside Marketing & Sales Coordinator to assist with daily Group sales
  • Work alongside Marketing & Sales Coordinator to assist with Corporate ticket sales
  • Social media updates
  • Communicating information internally throughout the resort
  • Handling guest issues in a courteous and helpful manner
  • On-mountain photo/video shoots, both behind and in front of lens
  • Booking groups and being their primary point-of-contact
  • Managing group calendar
  • Communicating group information throughout the resort
  • Meeting groups and buses, and processing them through Judah portal
  • Opening and closing a point-of-sale systems, handling cash, checks and credit card information
  • Sending groups end-of-trip sales reports
  • Handling guest issues in a courteous and helpful manner
  • Maintaining a good working relationship with other departments
  • May include travel and tabling at ski shows

  • Full-time, seasonal position
  • Early October – Early April, winter operations permitting
