The Dining Room at the Lodge
Come up and enjoy a taste of Donner Summit. The Lodge at Sugar Bowl Dining Room will be open July 25-28, July 31 and August 1-4 from 5:30 to 9:00PM.

Friday and Saturday evening dinners at Lake Mary from 5:30-9:00 PM. Serving up fantastic fare and supporting local non-profit organizations. With a portion of gross earning for the evening going directly to these local non-profit organizations.

During the Lake Mary Dinner series, CORE Points will not be accepted as a means of payment and points will not be awarded on purchases.

  • July 29 - Gateway Mountain Center - The Gateway Mountain Center gets youth outside! Connecting youth to nature, they provide hands-on learning in field science, mountain adventure, and eco-literacy. Gateway Mountain Center serves schools from around Northern California, including many from low-income communities, and runs ongoing youth development programs for local at-risk teens.   • August 5 - Truckee Donner Land Trust - The Truckee Donner Land Trust is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to preserve and protect important historic, recreational, and scenic open spaces in the greater Truckee Donner region. Click here to find out more >>

  • August 12 - Rotary Club of Truckee & Truckee Sunrise Rotary Club - The main objective of Rotary is service – in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.   • August 19 - Donner Summit Historical Society - To offer lectures, seminars, and field trips that will help the community learn the history of Donner Summit and the surrounding area, and to collect and display artifacts relative to the history, and to carry on other educational and charitable activities associated with this purpose.   • September 2 - Truckee Trails Foundation - Truckee Trails Foundation is a committed group of community-minded people focused on the development of a local trail and bikeway system, with the goal to connect people and places, reduce dependence on automobiles and improve physical, social, and environmental health for the community. We believe that creating a connected community with safe earthen and paved trails, usable by walkers, hikers, wheelchairs, and riders will improve the quality of life in our community, making it a desirable place to live, work and visit. Directions

From Truckee, take Old HWY 40 to the summit. Turn left into Sugar Bowl. Make your first left turn on Old Donner Summit Road.

From Interstate 80, head 3.5 miles east on Donner Summit Road. Turn right at the Mt. Judah Sugar Bowl entrance. Make your first left turn on Old Donner Summit Rd.
