SUGAR BOWL SKI TEAM HOSTS GOLF TOURNAMENT BENEFITING TAHOE FOREST HOSPICE
(Donner Summit, CA) Sugar Bowl Ski Team will host its annual golf tournament at the Resort at Squaw Creek this Monday, September 21st (9-21), benefiting the Tahoe Forest Hospice. With winter fast approaching and the subsequent need for numerous articles of cold weather clothing for families in need, the Ski Team is urging participants to bring bags of winter clothing, including old jackets, boots, hats and gloves, all to be donated to the Hospice. Registration for the tournament is $130 per person and includes continental breakfast, green fees and cart, a boxed lunch and awards reception. Format is a shotgun start, four-person scramble, teeing of at 11:00am sharp. Monies from entry fees will be donated to the Hospice, as well as toward the Sugar Bowl Ski Team Foundation's Scholarship Program, whose mission is to ensure ski racing is accessible to all, creating a diverse association of people sharing a common interest in the positive development of children of all socioeconomic backgrounds. Registration for the golf tournament can be accessed via the Ski Team's website at
