(Donner Summit, CA) – The next Working Man Wednesday terrain park competition on February 17th will take place in Sugar Bowl’s Olympic-level skicross/boarder-x course, the same training course used by the US Skicross Team’s Daron Rahlves and Casey Puckett before heading north to the 2010 Games in Vancouver. Racers will have the opportunity to experience a skicross/boarder-x course with similar features to that of the course being used for the 2010 Games.
Caboose Kicker Kids, a terrain park competition designed for kids 12 and under, will take place on Saturday, February 20th. This Youth oriented series is dedicated to creating fun and competitive terrain park competitions, while promoting and educating kids and parents on Smart Style terrain park etiquette.
The Coldstream terrain park competition, specifically designed for skiers and riders age 13-17, will take place in Sugar Bowl’s Switching Yard Terrain Park on February 21st.
Registration for all competitions is $15 per person, due at the Judah Lodge by noon on day of race, and does not include lift ticket. Competitions begin at 1:30 pm. Helmets are mandatory, and signed releases are required in order to compete, signed by a parent if the participant is under the age of 18.
