July 10 - Truckee Donner Historical Society - To discover, procure, and preserve whatever may relate to the aboriginal, natural, civil, literary and ecclesiastical history of the Town of Truckee and surrounding area.
July 17 - Truckee Donner Land Trust - The Truckee Donner Land Trust is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to preserve and protect important historic, recreational, and scenic open spaces in the greater Truckee Donner region.
July 24 - KidZone Museum - The KidZone Museum is a children's museum designed for families with children up to age seven. Our exhibits engage a child's curiosity with an array of repeat play activities. With each exhibit, we think about how children will be able to utilize their social, physical, and cognitive skills.
July 31 - Sugar Bowl Academy - Sugar Bowl Academy offers a comprehensive college preparatory curriculum, complete with AP classes, lab sciences, and fine arts electives, which provides high standards for personal achievement and responsibility. The curriculum is designed to give students academic competence, a life-long love of learning, and the skills needed to excel in their future opportunities.
August 7 - Arts for the Schools - Arts for the Schools provides high quality arts learning opportunities in our schools, and presents world-class musicians, dancers and other performers for the community at large.
August 21 - Pacific Crest Trail Association - . The Pacific Crest Trail Association is a membership organization formed as a nonprofit public benefit corporation and is recognized as a charitable and educational organization under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)3.
August 28 - Donner Summit Historical Society - To offer lectures, seminars, and field trips that will help the community learn the history of Donner Summit and the surrounding area, and to collect and display artifacts relative to the history, and to carry on other educational and charitable activities associated with this purpose.
