Mike was born and raised in Sacramento. He spent 10 years in Utah riding and shooting photos. He moved back to Donner summit where he has been concentrating on shooting action photos since 2001. His roots in the snowboard industry go back to 1986, where he has spent his time shooting snowboard and motocross photos. His latest venture has been his clothing company 241.
