Overview
Sugar Bowl Employee Housing Regulations
All employees in housing must agree to the following regulations before they can live in Sugar Bowl employee housing:

Sugar Bowl employee housing is designated non-smoking according to California Law and County Health Ordinances. Violators of the nonsmoking policy will be subject to immediate eviction and possible termination without prior notice.
  • Possession of firearms of any kind is prohibited.
  • Possession of controlled substances is prohibited. Employees caught with any illegal substances will be subject to immediate eviction and termination from employment. No Exceptions!
  • All Residents will show respect for their fellow roommates, their privacy, and their belongings.
  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
  • When at the residence, residents MUST be present with their guests at all times. Guests are not allowed after 10PM for any reason, unless by written approval from the Housing Department.
  • Residents that have cars are responsible for shoveling and moving their cars when it snows so plowing can occur. Failure to do so may result in a resident’s car being towed.
  • All residents will share in the cleaning of community areas. Residents are expected to clean up after themselves.
  • All residents’ rooms must be kept clean and orderly. Residents’ rooms may be inspected at any time by a member of Sugar Bowl Management for fire safety, cleanliness, damage, or upon reasonable suspicion of illegal activities.
  • Do not move furniture or make any alterations to your room.
  • Use of any appliances (washer/dryer, microwave) or bathrooms serving the residence is reserved for residents’ use only.
  • Sugar Bowl reserves the right to raise the rent or change your room assignment at any time.
  • Sugar Bowl is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen property of any resident. Residents should keep their door locked at all times.
  • Drinking alcoholic beverages is only permitted in a resident’s room if such resident is over 21 years of age. Any minor found drinking an alcoholic beverage in a residence will be evicted without notice and terminated from employment.
  • According to California Law and County Health Ordinances, smoking is not permitted in a resident’s room or in any common areas including hallways, rest rooms, TV rooms, or laundry.
  • Due to insufficient electricity and risk of fire, plug-in appliances beyond what is supplied by Sugar Bowl are not permitted in rooms (i.e., microwaves, burners, heaters).
  • No pets of any kind are allowed.
  • Residents and guests must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You will be evicted for cause, without notice, if any of the Residence Regulations are violated.
  • These Residence Regulations are in addition to the policies and practices set forth in the Employee Handbook. Both the regulations in the handbook and on this agreement must be followed.
  • Replacement keys are $10.00 and replacement access door cards are $25.00. A re-keying fee of $50.00 will be charged for replacement of any lost keys or access door cards.
