Uphill use of the resort and its surrounding areas by means of skinning, snowshoeing, hiking, and running have gained popularity at Sugar Bowl. Skiers and riders must review, agree to and sign the Uphill Use Policy before traveling uphill at Sugar Bowl Resort, and abide by the rules and regulations established by Sugar Bowl and USFS when accessing the resort both during and after operating hours.

This one day clinic is a stepping stone to the 3-day All Conditions/All Terrain curriculum. Skiers will receive coaching from members of the PSIA National Team and PSIA Western Regional Team that will focus on building a stronger technical base and learning how to blend different skills together to navigate through a different types of terrain and conditions more efficiently. You will ski and work with these "teachers of teachers" in a small group setting, gets lots of mileage and personal feedback. Sugar Bowl offers an incredible training venue with its diverse selection of terrain and spectacular views of the Tahoe Basin. With NASTC you will learn how to conquer Sugar Bowl's steeps, ski amongst its serene tree glades and arc down wide open faces. This course is designed to get you off that intermediate or advanced plateau and skiing the entire mountain more fluidly. Terrain selection is gauged according the level of each group.
