Ski Into The Future

Two and Three Day Camps, $50 deposit required
Two Day Camps $210 plus lift tickets
Three Day Camp: $275 plus lift tickets

Requirements:
  • An intermediate skier/rider comfortable on easier blue groomed runs.
  • An advanced to expert skier/rider wanting to fine tune their skills.
  • A desire to ski/ride any where, make any turn, any time.
The focus of these adventure camps is to apply modern contemporary ski/board techniques to your personal skiing/riding. Sugar Bowl's elite PSIA certified instructors focus on tactical approaches to blend and incorporate modern ski techniques to each individuals personal skiing/riding for maximum efficiency and effectiveness regardless of snow and terrain conditions. Our instructors will assess your movement patterns, skill sets, equipment selection, and make recommendations to enhance your mountain experience. Whether you are an intermediate or expert, this program will challenge you and improve your performance.

Five Dates to Choose From (two day camps - day one and two only):
  • December 17-19, 2010 – Early Season Tune-up (Fri.-Sun.)
  • January 21-13, 2011 – Conditions of the Day (Fri.-Sun.)
  • February 12-14, 2011 – Mid Season Tune-up (Sat.-Mon.)
  • March 11-13, 2011 – Conditions of the day (Fri.-Sun.)
  • April 16-18, 2011 – Spring Conditions (Sat.-Mon.)

  • Four levels of Adventure available (intermediate to expert):
  • CRUISER: Easier groomed blue runs. Primary focus - ski/ride more difficult blue/easier black diamond runs.
    CARVER: All groomed blue/easier black diamond runs. Primary focus - ski/ride off-piste blue runs, easier black diamond runs, introduction to bumps and carving techniques.
    RIPPER: All groomed single black diamond runs. Primary focus - ski/ride off-piste black diamonds bumps and advanced carving techniques.
    MASTER: Most double black diamond runs. Primary focus - ski/ride all conditions and techniques, anywhere on the mountain.
  • Video analysis: Video from day one and three (three day camp only), no video on day two.
  • Individual teaching/coaching/assessment and individual equipment assessment and recommendation.
  • 6 hours daily, 3 hours teaching, 9 AM to 12 PM; and 3 hours coaching, 1 to 4 PM, with ample warm-up and cool down time.
  • Final day afternoon, 4 to 6 PM, video analysis and wrap-up with après hors d’ oeuvres and no-host refreshments.
Location: Mt. Judah Day Lodge, Sugar Bowl Ski Resort, 8:30 AM.
