Sugar Bowl is excited to announce that they are on schedule for completion on the first phase of the New Jerome Creek Lodge for their new Village at Mt. Judah. This new project includes 23 luxury ski-in/ski-out condos at the base of Mount Judah. The units range in size from two to four bedrooms with spacious interiors and many custom finishes.

The original Sugar Bowl Village dates back to 1939 and retains it’s unique character unlike any other resort in California. The relatively scale of this new project is more in keeping with the authentic “Old Tahoe” experience, albeit with all the modern amenities guests have come to expect. Three subsequent phases will be developed with a total build out of 62 residences once completion is final.

There are still a few units left for purchase. To find out more about Sugar Bowl’s Jerome Creek Lodge and other real estate opportunities, log onto villageatsugarbowl.com

The Sugar Bowl team has been working hard to complete the ten year - $50 million dollar resort redevelopment. On mountain improvements in this huge undertaking have included 5 high speed quad chairs, 2 fixed grip quad chair lifts, the 40,000 square foot Mount Judah Day lodge, additional slope side parking, expanded snowmaking, a 7,000 square foot dedicated learning center, their Village Hall complex and restaurant, as well as extensive on mountain summer revegitation.

New this year the resort will now offer a new overnight ski/ board check, increased parking shuttles, a new ski & snowbard porter service at Mount Judah, a brand new season locker room, and a new snow play/tubing area.

In addition to the new village and all the on mountain improvements Sugar Bowl is redoubling its already high level of commitment to offer the best customer service in the Sierra. And Sugar Bowl promises to deliver ‘More fun and less hassle.’ than any other resort in Tahoe.

Sugar Bowl is located on Donner Summit, 3 miles off I-80. It is the closest major resort on the western front of the Sierras, offering convenient easy access from San Francisco (3 hours), Sacramento (2 hours) and Reno (45 minutes). The resort offers the most convenient location, deepest snowfall and incredible diverse terrain.
